This course provides emergency paediatric first aid training for parents and child-carers.
The one-day programme (10AM-4PM) provides participants with the essential skills required for dealing with an emergency situation. We aim to create a comfortable and relaxed environment so you achieve the highest level of recall. This training is delivered by a front-line Paramedic.
Upon completion of this training course, participants will be able to:
LO1: Describe the role of a first Aider
LO2: Describe and demonstrate basic First Aid
LO3: Describe the main injuries encountered in paediatric first aid
LO4: Describe and demonstrate how best to provide assistance to paramedics

Participants are assessed on their ability to meet the requirements set down in the learning outcomes.
This course meets the OFSTED requirements for the Voluntary Register.
Certificates of completion are awarded by an Advanced Paramedic.
